Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload, providing support in various civil litigation matters, and gaining valuable experience in the courtroom. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop legal skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records
- Attend court hearings and provide support during trials
- Collaborate with clients to gather information and prepare for legal proceedings
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting civil litigation
- Participate in strategy meetings to discuss case progress and direction
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
