SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
The Quality Documentation Administrator is responsible for reviewing and categorizing each document to ensure that they are assigned to the proper department for investigation and resolution. She/he will check for quality and timely disposition of each customer’s concerns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Documentation Administrator
- Prepare and maintain AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for new or revised assemblies and customer submissions.
- Collect, verify, and compile documentation from engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams required for FAIR packages.
- Track and manage all quality documentation related to production, engineering changes, and customer deliverables.
- Ensure documentation complies with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, inspection) to obtain needed data for accurate reporting.
- Ensure all documentation is correctly formatted, complete, and submitted within required timelines.
- Support the Quality Assurance team in document control, traceability, and product release documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality documentation, preferably in electronics or PCBA manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9102 FAIR requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The ability to lift 20 lbs., open filing cabinets, and bend, stand, or climb on step ladders as necessary.
ENVIRONMENT:
- The manufacturing facility is exposed to electronics assembly equipment and materials.
- May require working in a controlled environment with specific temperature and humidity requirements.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to perform the work.
