Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for three skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support a K-12 school district in Berkeley, CA. This opportunity involves working onsite across multiple school buildings with a diverse student population ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across multiple sites.
- Manage caseloads of approximately 35-40 students in Pre-K to 1st grade, 40-45 students in K-8th grade, and 50-55 students across K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience delivering SLP services within school settings.
- Ability to effectively manage a sizable caseload across various grade levels.
- Commitment to onsite attendance; virtual services are not applicable for this role.
- No consideration for Vocational SLP or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates.
Position Details:
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 5, 2026.
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
- Multiple buildings within the district.
- Location: Berkeley, California.
