PlaySpace Pediatrics is a therapy setting that offers a unique environment where children are motivated to explore, play, learn, and grow. Built upon an experiential, holistic, and mindful approach, our interdisciplinary team consists of therapists with strong foundations in child development and sensory integration who design and facilitate individual and group treatment sessions to promote the physical, social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive development of children.

We seek highly qualified occupational therapists to join our positive and welcoming family-centered private practice. Our PlaySpace therapists embrace our holistic approach, have a genuine love for kids, and approach families with a warm, caring, inclusive spirit to work with children and their entire support team. Therapists will work primarily in our sensory integration clinic, as well as in preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, and home-based settings, to provide one-on-one and group sessions to support childrens needs.

We work with children from birth through 18 years of age with various challenges in both groups and individual treatment sessions.

Requirements:

  • Valid OTR/L and state license
  • Bachelors, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therpay from an accredited university program
  • New grads are welcome with completed Level II Fieldwork in Pediatrics
  • 2+ years of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Experience with standardized assessment and evaluation reports
  • Experience or interest in group therapy sessions
  • Interest in sensory integration and/or advanced training in sensory integration preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills
