Volt is immediately hiring a Production Technician in Folsom, California 95630.
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for:
Job Description:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties within a manufacturing environment including production and manufacturing process operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sets up and operates fabrication processes and equipment to produce consumable products.
- Follows detailed work instructions associated with each machine and or business process.
- Performs a variety of process support tasks including maintenance of records and/or databases.
- Coordinates and facilitates processes by ensuring the proper flow of information and/or materials.
- Supports preventative maintenance program and inventory control activities with data entry, report generation and reconciliation.
- Provides back-up support for administrative and materials/procurement personnel in other manufacturing departments.
- Required to work and communicate cross functionally with company personnel at all organizational levels.
- Manages and completes multiple tasks and projects which require planning and judgment.
- Develops solutions on how to resolve issues that are identified during daily work.
- Provides feedback to supervisor, lead technician or technical support group on safety, quality, interpersonal and process related issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, customer service and/or high throughput environments.
- Basic math, verbal & written communication skills, and aptitude to follow complex instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Excel, and Word.
- Experience with SAP or related ERP system.
- Experience in inventory management is a plus.
Location: Folsom, California 95630.
Duration: 12 months contract
Shift: 1st shift (9:30AM – 6:00PM)
Payrate: $20.00/hr. - $23.00/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
