Enjoy a 4x10 schedule (4-day, 10-hour shifts) with a 3-day weekend every weekend!
Compensation:
$30 - $55 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Execute advanced heat pump installations, including ducted, ductless, and multizone systems
- Review project documentation: startup sheets, load calcs, and duct design specs
- Identify and delegate tasks to assistants
- Communicate installation progress with the project manager and the office teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues with minimal delay
- Lead final system commissioning, air balancing, and diagnostic troubleshooting
- Serve as the customer-facing lead technician on all assigned projects
Qualifications:
- Must have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Must have a strong focus on putting the clients first with exceptional customer service experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience: 4+ years of HVAC installation experience (heat pumps preferred)
- Hands-on skills: low- and high-voltage wiring, brazing, proper refrigerant charge, ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Management: Ability to manage a project from start to finish
- Leadership experience: mentoring crews, job site management
- Certifications: EPA Universal, OSHA-10, NATE (preferred)
