This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Located in La Jolla at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. You are required to float to other sites as needed, but majority of time will be in Torrey Pines.

What you'll do:
- Conduct significant telephone/patient portal interaction (80%) coordinating care with patients and collaborating with providers and their care teams.
- Educate patients, manage associated paperwork, order entry, prior authorizations, medication refills, assist in procedures and occasional wound care.
- You will use minimal hands-on nursing skills.
- Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This position is eligible for New Hire incentives up to $4k and Relocation Incentives up to $3K (must be relocating more than 100 miles).
The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
- Internal candidates
- Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
- Candidates with less than 1 year of experience as an RN
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- CA RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- BSN
- 1+ years of experience as RN in acute care/hospital setting
- Outpatient RN experience
- Epic experience
- Surgical experience

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
