Responsibility
We are seeking an experienced onsite IT to serve as the primary and sole onsite IT resource for our organization. This role is responsible for providing hands-on technical support, maintaining IT systems and equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
- Install, configure, support, and perform periodic preventive maintenance on computer hardware, software, systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Provide technical support by analyzing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving IT issues, including hardware repair or replacement, laptop and desktop issues, software installation and updates, and peripheral support.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup, account provisioning and deprovisioning and access changes.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, including repair logs, maintenance schedules, configurations, and procedural notes.
- Support and maintain audio/video conferencing systems and meeting room technology.
- Provide first-level network troubleshooting for connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, and DNS issues, and coordinate escalation to the internal Infrastructure team for deeper investigation or resolution.
- Support IT-related projects such as hardware refreshes, software rollouts, and technology upgrades as assigned.
- Perform other IT-related duties as required to support business operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of professional IT support experience, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting systems in a predominantly Linux environment.
- Demonstrated experience with end-user hardware and software support, including operating system configuration and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret technical issues clearly, work independently, and collaborate with other team members.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $69,000 - $100,000 Annually
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on many factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation and this role may be eligible for bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
