Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing specialized speech and language services to young learners, this role requires a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a regional preschool special education program within a K-12 school setting. The position is contract-based for the current and upcoming school years, focused on delivering in-person therapy to children ages 3-5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50 preschool students
- Collaborate closely with two other SLPs to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support comprehensive educational goals
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in California is required
- Experience working with early childhood populations, specifically children ages 3-5, preferred
- Ability to work effectively within a special education framework and collaborate with educational professionals
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a caseload and related administrative tasks
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Morgan Hill, CA
- Standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
