Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students across multiple sites in Sonoma and Marin counties. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in a dynamic school setting serving students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 24-28 students.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Manage casework, including collaboration with educators, therapists, and families to coordinate services effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
- Provide support and training to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies to enhance student learning.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with CCC.
- Eligibility or current status as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate or completed CFY.
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple sites.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
