Job DescriptionUnder minimal supervision, the candidate will perform complex technical operations on both production and developmental semiconductor equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, software, and control systems both on the production floor and at customer facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layout, cabling, and wiring to schematics.
Assemble mechanical systems, including drilling, tapping, and other fabrication work, ensuring builds follow mechanical assembly drawings.
Support machine assembly and start-up, including I/O checkout and resolution of electrical, software, and control system issues.
Troubleshoot PLCs, motion control, and I/O subsystems using PC-based software, electrical metering, and measurement tools.
Collaborate with Engineering teams regarding bills of materials, drawings, schematics, software, and system controls.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician.
Hands-on prototyping experience in a production environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings and blueprints.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Skills & Training:
Associate’s degree in Electronics, Industrial, or Mechanical Technology.
Experience writing or debugging PLC ladder logic.
