Automation Controls Engineer
Position Overview
The Automation Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. This role focuses on developing control strategies and ensuring seamless integration of various automation components in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for automated processes.
- Program and configure PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs as per project requirements.
- Conduct systems integration of various automation components to ensure seamless operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and instrumentation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for automation systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage projects related to automation systems, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement and support industry standards and best practices in automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience in control systems design and PLC programming.
- Familiarity with SCADA and HMI development tools.
- Experience with DCS and industrial networking protocols.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and process control methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on automation systems.
- Project management experience, with the ability to lead and manage projects effectively.
- Strong technical documentation skills and attention to detail.
Salary: $95,000 - $140,000
