Job Description
Jones Law Group, PC is a litigation defense firm representing real estate agents, brokerages, contractors, and businesses throughout California. We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling real estate and business litigation matters.
This is an on-site role for a paralegal who can independently manage substantive litigation support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Draft, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

Assist attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation

Prepare and manage discovery, including document production and responses

File documents in California state and federal courts (e-filing and service)

Maintain and manage litigation calendars; calendaring accuracy and deadline management are imperative

Track court deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures

Organize and manage electronic and paper case files

Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications

3+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation

Strong experience with California state and federal court filings

Demonstrated expertise in litigation calendaring and deadline management

Trial preparation experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
