Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Part-Time and Full-Time positions available!
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This role focuses on Early Intervention and involves providing in-home therapy services, with occasional Telehealth sessions as requested.
Service Areas: Bellflower, Norwalk, Artesia, Cerritos, Downey, Lakewood, Long Beach, Torrance, Carson, Montebello, and Pico Rivera
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 5 40 hours per week (depends on part-time or full-time position)
Position Details
- Part-time (minimum 5 hours per week)
- Full-time (35-40 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule (daytime, after school, evenings, and weekends as needed)
- Home-based therapy services with occasional Telehealth sessions
Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders using either DAYC-2 or Bayley Scales 4th Edition
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide speech therapy services to patients with various communication disorders, direct in-home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care as needed
- Monitor and document patient progress electronically and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on speech and language strategies for improvement
- Abide by ASHA CFY standards and guidelines for supervision
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language
CCC-SLP certification and California state licensure (required)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with children and early intervention (preferred)
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, but not required)
CFYs are encouraged to apply
