Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion and delivery of projects, specifically in the commercial sector, including auto dealerships and retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions and coordinate project schedules
- Manage the bid process and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Oversee project estimating and budgeting activities
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and scope
- Prepare and manage job cost reports and budgets
- Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Orders during the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
- Facilitate pre-construction meetings and site assessments
- Communicate project progress and updates to management and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a commercial setting, preferably with auto dealerships or retail
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent skills in bid management and scheduling
- Experience with estimating and budget management
- Familiarity with construction processes and documentation
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
