Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A reputable educational contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) skilled in pediatric and school-based services. This role primarily supports high school students with mild to severe disabilities, providing comprehensive care in line with typical SLP responsibilities.

Location:
Fullerton, CA, with occasional service provision at a Nonpublic School in Buena Park, CA.

Duration:
August through December, with potential extension pending reevaluation at the end of December. Part-time Extended School Year (ESY) work is also considered. Full-time commitment is guaranteed through December.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to high school students with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.
  • Provide services at both the primary location and monthly at a Nonpublic School in Buena Park.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License (ASL certification required).
  • Credentialed or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in pediatric healthcare and school settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with managing caseloads involving mild to moderate and moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for SLP candidates.
  • SLPA candidates must have school-based experience.
