Location: Koreatown - Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: 12-hour Shifts
7am - 7pm: Monday, Friday, & Saturday
7pm - 7am: Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
7am - 7pm - Thursday, 3pm -10pm - Friday, & 10pm - 10pm - Saturday
Base Pay: $17.82/hour | OT: $26.73/hour
Make a meaningful impact while building a long-term healthcare career. We’re hiring a Medical Assistant for our adolescent residential treatment program in Commerce, California, serving teens ages 12–17 who are working through mental health challenges, eating disorders, and substance use recovery.
This is a great opportunity for Medical Assistants who want hands-on experience in behavioral health, adolescent care, and residential treatment environments. You’ll work closely with therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, and educators to support client safety, daily routines, and medical needs.
What You’ll Do
• Take and record vital signs, complete drug screenings, and document medical updates
• Administer medications according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Provide one-on-one supervision for clients with elevated safety or behavioral concerns
• Monitor client behavior and communicate changes to treatment staff
• Maintain accurate medical records, shift logs, and documentation
• Coordinate medical appointments with outside providers
• Support a safe, structured, therapeutic environment
• Participate in ongoing training, development, and team collaboration

Qualifications - Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass background and fingerprint clearance
Preferred:
• One year of experience in healthcare, residential treatment, or behavioral health
• Experience working with adolescents ages 12–17
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and dual diagnosis support
