Location: Oakland, CA
Employment Type: Full-time | In-office with remote work options and potential partnership track
Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year (Based on Experience)

The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plaintiff-side work and a proven track record in handling a variety of cases. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the litigation process, from initial case assessment to trial.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload, including personal injury, employment law, and civil rights matters.

Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Engage in discovery, including depositions and written discovery.

Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.

Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.

Maintain strong client relationships and provide compassionate legal counsel.
Qualifications:

Active member of the California State Bar.

Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff-side civil litigation experience.

Proficiency in personal injury, employment law, and civil rights.

Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
