Estimator / Project Manager (Hazardous Materials)
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)
Pay - 100k-160k
We are a Industrial/Environmental contractor that focuses on large scale Facility Environmental Cleaning and Maintenance Services throughout the Bay Area and Norcal. As we expand our team, we are looking for an Estimator / PM that has worked on any of the following:
- Industrial Cleaning
- Facility Closures
- Liquid Recovery
- Tank Cleaning
- Tank Removal
- Process Systems Decontamination
- Surface Decontamination
- Lab Packing
- Waste Consolidation
- Transportation and Disposal of Hazardous Materials
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for hazardous materials projects/services.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate with environmental specialists and contractors to implement remediation strategies.
- Conduct site assessments and develop project scopes based on hazardous materials findings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards during project execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field (not required but nice to have)
- Proven experience in project management and estimation within the hazardous materials sector.
- Strong knowledge of remediation techniques and hazardous materials regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Certifications in project management (PMP) or hazardous materials handling are a plus.
