Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and safety-conscious Onsite Supervisor to oversee daily operations for a workforce of 100–150 employees. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of GMPs, and a proactive approach to workplace safety and injury reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume environments and is committed to maintaining operational excellence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of 100–150 employees across shifts
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company quality standards
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and ensure timely start of operations
- Monitor employee performance and productivity; adjust staffing as needed
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and operational metrics
- Lead investigations and documentation of workplace injuries and safety incidents
- Collaborate with Safety and HR teams to ensure proper reporting and follow-up
- Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of accountability and awareness
- Provide coaching, conflict resolution, and performance feedback to team members
- Support onboarding and training of new hires in GMP compliance and safety procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial setting
- Strong working knowledge of GMPs and OSHA safety standards
- Experience handling injury reports, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts consistently
- Proficiency in workforce management systems and reporting tools
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in safety or quality a plus.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00am-6:00am start time, depending on if there are new starts.
Must be on open to working overtime and also weekends (some Saturdays) & on call.
