Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the full semester working with middle school students (grades 6-8) in Redwood City, CA. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic educational setting while supporting students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bilingual Spanish-English speech and language therapy services tailored to middle school students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring to ensure student growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with district and legal standards.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Current California SLP-CCC credential.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
- Experience working with middle school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders prevalent in school-aged children.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and communicate effectively with students and staff.
Job Details:
- Location: Redwood City, CA
- Setting: Middle School (6th-8th grade)
- Duration: Full semester contract, starting ASAP through end of school year
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Compensation: Competitive rates between $50 - $65 per hour
