Job DescriptionAttorney - Employment Law

  • Position Overview: You will provide legal advisory services to clients on a variety of employment law related matters. This position requires strong knowledge and understanding of business law, employment law, litigation defense, lawsuit processing, and case load management. This position can be done remotely or from a home office.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide legal advice and support to clients on a variety of employment law related matters.
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of employment related laws, policies, and procedures.
    • Research and draft legal documents as needed.
    • Prepare and file applications and documents with the appropriate government agencies.
    • Negotiate and settle disputes.
    • Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
    • Manage case loads and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Provide resume writing, cover letter writing, reference obtaining, and writing sample collection services.
  • Qualifications:
    • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
    • Barred in CA
    • 7+ years of employment defense litigation experience.
    • PAGA and class action experience
    • Strong research and writing skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
