Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE + Benefits

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
- Independently manage and organize legal files with minimal supervision
- Draft correspondence, petitions, supplements, accountings, and related legal documents
- Review probate notes and file appropriate documents with the court
- Record legal documents with the County Recorder’s Office
- Prepare and assemble estate planning documents for attorney and client review
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide high-level support to attorneys
- Greet clients and serve as receptionist for the Laguna Hills office, providing a welcoming and professional front-desk presence
- Process incoming mail and scan documents into the case management system
- Maintain accurate and well-organized case files
- Manage attorney calendars, coordinate scheduling, and track critical deadlines
- Prepare concise synopses and case summaries as needed
- Primarily work out of our Laguna Hills office, with occasional coverage at our San Clemente office as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration; experience with LLCs and corporations is a plus
- Strong knowledge of California Probate Law is essential
- Thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong computer proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred
- Active Notary Public commission required
