Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An experienced Operating Room Technician is needed for a contract position in Corona, CA, supporting a busy hospital surgical team. This role requires candidates to bring hands-on skills in operating room technology, contributing to successful and efficient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure patient safety protocols
- Manage surgical supplies and equipment inventory
- Support preoperative and postoperative patient care as directed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Operating Room Technician
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
