Job Description
Drive and lead the commercial and financial performance of the Wellbeing Department, ensuring complete viability and maximizing all opportunities and resources. Work closely with the Hotel General Manager in establishing and maintaining key business objectives, effective marketing/PR strategies, operational brand standards, guest relations, and team member management.
- Oversee and maintain all spa operations to ensure performance at the highest level of guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing and promotions.
- Collaborate with vendors to source premium spa products and services.
- A thoughtful operator with an ability to manage both short and long-term financial objectives, adding value and managing outcomes through a balanced lens.
- Maintain and champion the Auberge Collection culture.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, property systems, and standards.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to all Wellbeing Department team members, fostering a highly motivated team that consistently delivers service excellence.
- Monitor team procedures, including scheduling and payroll accuracy.
- Develop an annual training plan with Wellbeing Department Heads and leaders, ensuring all team members are trained and developed to meet business needs.
The starting pay range for this position is $145-155,000 annually. This is the pay rate for this position that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of operating experience as a Director of Spa/Wellbeing, in a luxury hospitality setting preferred.
- Previous experience of successfully managing and developing a large team.
- Must be confident, warm, and motivating to ensure the desired environment is achieved.
- Strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports, and analysis.
- Demonstrated track record of strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
