This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is based onsite at a K-12 school in Van Nuys, CA, offering a contract for the current school year. Ideal for a licensed professional holding a California SLP licensure with Certification of Completion, this role emphasizes direct service delivery within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in meetings such as IEPs and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with Certification of Completion.
  • Possession of a California Teaching Credential (CTC) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated school-based experience working face-to-face with students.
  • Strong understanding of educational standards and speech-language development in children.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
