This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is based onsite at a K-12 school in Van Nuys, CA, offering a contract for the current school year. Ideal for a licensed professional holding a California SLP licensure with Certification of Completion, this role emphasizes direct service delivery within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings such as IEPs and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with Certification of Completion.
- Possession of a California Teaching Credential (CTC) is preferred.
- Demonstrated school-based experience working face-to-face with students.
- Strong understanding of educational standards and speech-language development in children.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
