What does the position look like?

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team. As a Garage Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the garage door industry and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and related equipment

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with garage doors and related equipment

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies

- Ability to explain and sell products

Job Type:

Full-time, 8-hour shift Monday-Friday

Pay: starting $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience working in the garage door industry
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must have a clean and professional appearance and be friendly and comfortable interacting onsite with our customers
• Flexible and reliable team player
• Fluent English speaker & writer
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. Minimum
• Driver's license and 5-year clean driving record
• Ability to use iPad to record job data
• Background check/drug test may be required
• Commercial overhead door experience a plus!
