Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available for a contract during the current school year at a K-12 school located in Roseville, CA. This role supports students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential therapy services within a school setting. The position requires comprehensive OT skills specific to schools, with a focus on delivering quality therapeutic interventions to enhance students academic and functional performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students from PreK-12 under the supervision guidelines that include COTA and facilitator support.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings as required.
- Manage workload effectively to meet comp time requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active California OT license.
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Ability to work full-time with consistent adherence to contract schedules.
- Skilled in supervising COTA/facilitator support personnel.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
