A growing company - a subsidiary of a large, household brand - is adding a Spanish-speaking investigator to their expanding legal team. This role will report to a senior investigator (placed by RH as well) and the AGC/director of litigation. This investigator will be responsible for working with HR and legal departments, conducting investigations related to employee relations: harassment, discrimination, etc.
Responsibilities of Role:
o reviewing complaints and corresponding docs (HR files, email correspondence, texts, employment records) and weeding through evidence
o interviewing witnesses (in various time zones - must be able to work odd hours occasionally)
o identifying trends within complaints
o partnering with HR to manage complaint files, building strong relationships with them
o drafting professional reports about incidents and findings
o note: this role does not require interpreting statutes/recommending discipline
· Software: EthicsPoint by Navex - would be a huge plus if someone has this!
Pay is contingent upon experience with the duties above.
Details of Role:
· Hours: Flexible, this person will work with people on east and west coasts. 8-hour day.
· Profile that would be a fit:
o Someone who has strong, professional, courteous communication skills (concise, factual, cut-and-dry, friendly but not fluffy)
o Someone with a strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
o Someone familiar with how to conduct an investigation

• Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to conduct interviews effectively.
• At least one year of experience in investigations, legal, or HR-related roles.
• Strong understanding of the investigative process and best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills that are clear, concise, and courteous.
• Familiarity with EthicsPoint by Navex software is a plus.
Preference will be given to candidates local to Southern California, or at minimum, who live in Pacific time zone. Candidates with plans for law school in the next 3 years need not apply.
