Position Description

We are seeking a Final Technician to perform final inspection activities for printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing operations. This position works closely with the Quality team to ensure finished products meet customer specifications, IPC standards, and internal quality requirements prior to shipment. The role focuses on detailed inspection, accurate documentation, and compliance with quality system procedures.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform final inspection of printed circuit boards prior to shipment
  • Conduct detailed visual inspections using microscopes and inspection tools
  • Verify product compliance to drawings, specifications, work instructions, and IPC workmanship standards (IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610)
  • Review and confirm completion of required inspection and quality documentation
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming product per quality procedures
  • Accurately record inspection results in quality systems and inspection logs
  • Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns to Quality and Production teams
  • Verify proper handling, labeling, packaging, and customer-specific requirements prior to shipment
  • Follow ESD, safety, and quality system requirements at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of inspection tools and work areas
  • Support audit preparation by providing inspection records and documentation as requested


Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or associate degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics, or EMS preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Working knowledge of IPC workmanship standards
  • Experience using microscopes and visual inspection tools
  • Strong attention to detail and inspection accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed


Hourly Pay: $19 - 25 per hour

Compensation is based on relevant experience, education, certifications, and specialized skills.
