Position Overview
The Senior Associate - Litigation will play a critical role in our legal team, providing expert legal counsel and representation in various litigation matters. This position is designed for a dedicated attorney with significant experience in litigation, who can manage complex cases and provide strategic guidance to clients across multiple sectors, including business, trust & estate, commercial, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Provide guidance on business, trust & estate, and real estate law as it pertains to litigation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff.
  • Stay abreast of changes in litigation laws and regulations, providing updates to the team and clients.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on business, trust & estate, commercial, and real estate law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven track record of success in court and during negotiations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
