Job Description

Electronics Test Technician

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Electronics Test Technician is responsible for setting up and conducting standardized tests on electronic and hybrid components, relays, and parts in accordance with established procedures. This role involves recording and interpreting test data, maintaining documentation, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring accurate test setups.

Shift: 7am-4pm w/ Overtime

3-6 Mo contract, potential extension

Pay: $23.00-25.00/hr BOE

Primary Responsibilities:

Set up and operate test equipment for electronic component evaluations.
Read and interpret procedures, blueprints, and schematics.
Perform data entry and maintain test logs using computer systems.
Conduct functional testing using various test instruments.
Diagnose and troubleshoot components down to the component level.
Record test results and maintain accurate documentation.
Troubleshoot final products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Train junior technicians on testing procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
Repair and maintain test equipment as needed.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to assist in prototype development.
Actively participate in Quality Improvement initiatives.
Support Lean and 6S continuous improvement programs.
Uphold the highest ethical standards and adhere to company policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate degree in electronics or equivalent technical experience.
Minimum of two years of experience as an electronics technician/tester.
Hands-on experience working with discrete/hybrid components, parts, or relays using standardized test equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the aerospace industry.
Familiarity with military-grade electronic products.
