Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to help them regain independence in daily living activities and improve overall functional performance.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately and timely
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies

Requirements

  • Active state Occupational Therapist license (must be current)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
