Position Summary:

Under nursing supervision the Nursing Assistant provides nursing care to patients as assigned by the Registered Nurse. The Nursing Assistant is accountable for patient care they provide during a shift. The Incumbent will be responsible for adhering to the Standards of Nursing Care and for promoting teamwork among

co-workers. The individual in this position should have genuine interest in care of the ill and willingness to work under close supervision.

Qualifications:

Pursues programs of continuing education, participates in educational conferences, and updates. Maintains knowledge and skills related to area of practice. Prefer High School graduate and CNA Program work experience.

Requires CA Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and American Heart Association BCLS Certificate.
