Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Hayward, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the academic year under a contract arrangement. This role is essential in supporting students with communication disorders to enhance their educational success and overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and services provided.
  • Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Provide consultation and training to staff as needed to support communication strategies.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
