Overview
Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic trial-focused firm in Los Angeles. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on high-stakes cases, providing support through every stage of litigation. What You’ll Do

Draft routine legal documents and correspondence.

Manage multiple cases from intake through trial.

Collect, organize, analyze, and summarize medical records.

Assist in preparing for depositions, including gathering and organizing exhibits.

Support trial preparation by drafting pretrial documents, preparing exhibit and witness lists, and managing exhibits.

Provide direct trial support, including conducting research and handling real-time document needs.
What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience (personal injury background preferred).

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate required.

Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, all phases of discovery, proofreading, and cite-checking.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under deadlines, manage competing priorities, and support a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed.
