We are hiring Heat Treat Operators – Level 3 on 2nd shift in Gardena, CA.

As a Heat Treat Operator, you will:

  • Set up, load, operate, and unload heat treat furnaces
  • Process incoming and outgoing orders following exact specifications
  • Perform Rockwell hardness testing and quality verifications
  • Complete degreasing, tray preparation, and probe checks
  • Conduct SAT surveys and modify furnace recipes based on AMS standards
  • Train and mentor lower-level operators
  • Assist in troubleshooting furnace alarms and performing basic maintenance
  • Support auxiliary tasks such as sandblasting when needed

This is a full-time opportunity on 2nd shift (hours TBD).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of heat treat experience (preferably in aerospace or metals)
  • Strong understanding of furnace operations and thermal treatment specs
  • Familiarity with Rockwell hardness testing and SAT procedures
  • Ability to read work instructions and operate with minimal supervision
  • GED or high school diploma preferred

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
