Our Elder Abuse team is growing, and we are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal / Calendar Clerk to support litigation and ensure cases move forward efficiently and accurately.

Position Overview
The Elder Abuse Paralegal & Calendar Clerk plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and litigation staff by managing court calendars, deadlines, and case documentation while ensuring compliance with California court rules.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage court calendars, deadlines, and tickler systems

Calendar hearings, motions, discovery deadlines, and trial dates

Assist with pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation

Coordinate filings with courts and opposing counsel

Organize and maintain case files, medical records, and litigation documents

Support attorneys and senior paralegals with day-to-day case management

Communicate professionally with internal teams and external parties
Qualifications

Experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Calendar Clerk

Strong understanding of California court rules and litigation deadlines

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment

Experience in elder abuse, personal injury, or civil litigation preferred

Experience with Litify or similar case management systems is a plus
