Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Construction Prep and Detail Technician to
ensure the exceptional finish and presentation of our projects. This hands-on role is vital for
preparing surfaces and spaces to meet quality standards and completing the final details
necessary for project completion and client acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Finish Preparation: Execute necessary preparatory work on various interior and exterior surfaces (e.g., sanding, patching, masking) to ensure readiness for final finishes (paint, sealant, caulk, etc.).
- Final Detailing: Perform comprehensive final cleaning, polishing, and detailing of all finished spaces, including windows, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Touch-ups and Correction: Identify and perform minor repairs, cosmetic touch-ups, and punch list items post-construction to eliminate imperfections.
- Material Management: Organize, clean, and maintain tools, equipment, and a designated work area according to site safety and organizational standards.
- Assist the site superintendent and other trades with various general labor and support tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- A demonstrated keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Comfortable working independently and efficiently to meet project deadlines and schedules.
- Ability to perform physical construction tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, and working at various heights (if applicable).
- Familiarity with standard construction tools, cleaning agents, and safety procedures is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong dedication to job site safety.
