Overview:
We are actively seeking an experienced Master Scheduler with strong Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) experience to support on-time delivery and operational excellence in a manufacturing environment. This role owns the master production schedule and partners cross-functionally to align demand, capacity, inventory, and supply with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand and delivery targets
- Lead and support the SIOP/S&OP process, balancing forecasts, capacity, and inventory
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to resolve demand/supply gaps
- Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans
- Manage capacity, material availability, and inventory to optimize service and working capital
- Drive schedule adherence, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement
- Maintain planning data and reporting in ERP/MRP systems
- Prepare KPIs and planning insights for leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain planning
- Proven SIOP/S&OP experience in manufacturing
- Strong ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Preferred:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)
- Experience with complex BOMs and multi-level schedules
