Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in San Jose, CA. This opportunity focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade within an educational setting. The role begins January 26, 2025, and extends through the end of the school year (EOSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored speech-language therapy to a caseload of 26-28 students, addressing individualized education plan (IEP) goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning to support student success.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, with familiarity supporting TK6th grade students.
  • Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently.
  • Ability to engage effectively with young learners and educational teams.

  • Part-time schedule: 18.25 hours per week across 2.5 days
  • Location: San Jose, California
  • Age group served: TK through 6th grade
