Sr Electrical Engineer

Location San Jose, CA (Hybrid, 3x a week on-site)

Pay: 140k-145k base

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Electrical Engineer to lead and execute electrical engineering projects, particularly in the data center sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing electrical systems and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for data centers
  • Conduct load calculations and power supply system analysis
  • Utilize BIM tools such as Revit and BIM 360 for electrical layout and design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain project documentation using Bluebeam
  • Ensure compliance with LEED and sustainability standards
  • Perform high voltage system design and analysis
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on data centers
  • Proficient in electrical design software such as Revit, SKM, and BIM 360
  • Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) would be a big bonus
  • Strong understanding of high voltage systems and power supply design
  • PE Cert would be a bonus but not required
  • LEED certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
