Position: Manufacturing Assembler / Packaging Associate
Location: Orange, CA 92868
Employment: Contract to Hire
Pay: $19 - $20.50/hr.
- Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working as part of a team of 4+ people in a production environment

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable, hardworking Manufacturing Assembler / Packaging Associate to support the production and shipping of mechanical consumer products. This role is part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, teamwork, and consistency are essential.
The initial focus of this position will be cutting, assembling, and preparing cardboard boxes and packaging materials for daily shipments. Over time, the role will expand to include product assembly and preparation for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, assemble, and build cardboard boxes and packaging materials for outgoing shipments
- Assemble mechanical products and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions
- Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and staging
- Work as part of a production team assembling and shipping approximately 40 units per day
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently (drills, rivet guns, torque wrenches, box cutters, etc.)
- Inspect products and packaging for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Follow all safety guidelines, quality standards, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate issues such as defects, shortages, or equipment concerns to supervisors
- Support other production tasks as needed to meet daily and weekly goals
