Job Description
- Supports establishment of baseline strategic approach to work plan execution, running reports across multiple data sources to analyze resource availability vs. demand.
- Develops contingency plans with stakeholders to assure work readiness if work or financial plans require adjustment.
- Investigates and highlights cost or resource variances; partners with stakeholders to identify root causes.
- Collaborates with peers to develop integrated work plans, updates, and presentation materials for budget/work meetings.
- Participates in special initiative projects; may lead specific initiatives.
- Tracks and reports on work progression; ensures transparency and communication across teams.
- Evaluates costs and resources needed to execute work plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant work experience with increasing responsibility.
- Desired Experience: Utility, energy, or regulatory industry background.
Knowledge/Technical Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of utility/energy industry drivers and trends
- Resource/operational planning methods and business processes
- Data analysis, benchmarking, and financial analysis techniques
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Visio), VBA, Business Objects or similar software
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
