Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Assemblers to join a high-performance team focused on manufacturing custom wire harnesses. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, the ability to follow technical diagrams, and a strong commitment to quality. Assemblers will be responsible for creating sub-assemblies and full harness builds using both hand and power tools in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull wire from racks and cut to specific lengths per diagram specifications
- Terminate wires using hand and machine terminal crimpers
- Assemble connectors by hand according to provided diagrams
- Perform quality inspections of sub-assemblies before moving to final assembly
- Use harness boards to add additional wires, terminals, and fuse blocks
- Conduct final quality checks prior to loom and tape application
- Box, label, and log completed harnesses for shipping
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Follow all safety and quality assurance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Attention to detail – zero tolerance for defects; product safety is critical
- Manual dexterity – ability to use hand tools and crimpers effectively
- Ability to follow diagrams and schematics
- Team player – able to work independently while contributing to a small team
- Physical stamina – ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to efficiency – work within stringent production timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in wire harness assembly or similar manufacturing roles
- Basic understanding of electrical components and vehicle wiring
- Familiarity with quality control standards
