Key Essentials to Behavior Management is seeking a dedicated Lead RegisteredBehavior Technician to join our dynamic behavioral health team. What You'll Do
As our Lead Registered Behavior Technician, you'll serve as a senior clinical support specialist and mentor, working closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Program Supervisor to ensure the highest quality ABA services.
Clinical Responsibilities (75% - 30 hours/week)
- Mentor and Coach: Provide real-time clinical mentoring and coaching to behavior interventionists during direct service delivery
- Direct Client Care: Deliver high-quality behavior analysis services including skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Assessment Support: Conduct functional behavior assessments and contribute to individualized treatment plan development
- Data Collection: Observe, record, and analyze client behavior data to ensure accurate progress monitoring
- Crisis Support: Provide behavior management support during challenging situations
- Quality Assurance: Ensure ABA programs are implemented according to best practices and ethical standards
Administrative Responsibilities (25% - 10 hours/week)
- Documentation: Maintain accurate client records, progress reports, and session notes
- Training Support: Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new behavior interventionists
- Coordination: Assist with scheduling, staff assignments, and service delivery logistics
- Quality Improvement: Participate in program evaluation and development initiatives

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in Applied Behavior Analysis, preferably with children and adults with disabilities
- Certification: Registered Behavior Technician Certification, & Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or willingness to obtain certification
- Skills: Demonstrated competence in behavior management, functional assessments, and ABA principles

The field of Applied Behavior Analysis may involve direct contact with individuals that may potentially exhibit aggressive and/or extremely challenging behaviors (i.e. spitting, hitting, kicking, throwing of objects, etc.).
