Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support elementary school students in Hayward, CA. This full-time contract position runs for the current school year (CSY), starting ASAP, and concluding at the end of the school year (EOSY). The role is integral to fostering students' development and independence within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to the needs of elementary-aged students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and families regarding students therapy goals and strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced educational environment.
