Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate daily production activities on a high-speed corrugator machine.
* Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in machine operation, safety, and quality.
* Train and mentor team members, ensuring they develop the skills necessary for efficient and safe operation.
* Monitor product quality and make real-time adjustments to ensure specifications are met.
* Assist in scheduling and assigning tasks, ensuring optimal staffing and workflow.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to address minor machine issues and report major breakdowns.
* Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all team members adhere to established safety procedures.
* Contribute to problem-solving and process improvement initiatives on the corrugator line.
Recommended Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on a corrugator machine, with at least 2 years in a lead or advanced operator role.
* Comprehensive knowledge of all major corrugator machine positions (e.g., control room, single facer, double backer).
* Demonstrated potential for leadership and a desire to take on supervisory responsibilities.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
* Excellent communication skills for instructing and motivating team members.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a formal supervisor or team leader.
* A natural inclination towards coaching and developing others.
