Temmerman, Cilley, Kohlmann & Norcia, LLP, a sophisticated trust & estates firm with offices in Santa Clara and Contra Costa Counties, has immediate openings for a legal secretary / legal assistant in its litigation group in Danville. The candidate will be responsible for supporting a litigation partner. The candidate must be capable of performing tasks such as drafting correspondence, contacting the court, calendaring, typing legal briefs, e-filing and e-service, preparing motions with TOA’s and TOC’s, interacting with clients, court clerks and opposing counsel, and other related tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of trusts litigation experience.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in WORD, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to create and manipulate TOC’s and TOA’s.
- Fast and accurate typing.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent word processing skills.
- Ability to anticipate and prioritize meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Multitasker and well organized.
- A team player attitude.
- Familiarity with trial preparation.
