Employment Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview
The Employment Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys in all phases of employment law litigation, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and preparing for trials and hearings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and the litigation process, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Manage e-discovery processes and document reviews
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings
  • Organize and maintain case files and documentation
  • Coordinate depositions and witness interviews
  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel as necessary
  • Prepare trial exhibits and other materials for court presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Paralegal Certificate or certification from an accredited institution
  • 4+ years of experience in employment law litigation ideal
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation processes
  • Proficiency in e-discovery and ESI discovery
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Familiarity with class action lawsuits is a plus
